Pitch and Putt

A good summer of juvenile pitch and putt came to a conclusion recently. The final event was kindly sponsored by Hanley Controls. It saw Owen Quigley top the scoring charts with his best score of the summer. Thanks to all who played over the summer and we hope all enjoyed the game.

Scramble results Tuesday 11th September

Nett Winners were David Cahill, Breda Howell, and Evelyn Cahill. Runners Up Ger Cronin, Kathleen Foran and John Cooney. Gross prize went to the team of Paul Sweeney, Bridget Walsh and Joan Donlon. While third Nett went to the trio of Declan Fahey, Mary Moloney and Con Lucey.

We are running an outing to Fermoy on Saturday 6th October. Anyone interested please put your name on the sheet in the kiosk.

 

Tennis

Open American tournament this Weds starting at 7:30. Eugene Cooney is the tournament leader, come along and partake, open to members and visitors. The RyanMotorPower Club Championships are scheduled for Sept 24th with finals on Sept 29th; get your entries in, all grades catered for. The Castleview Open is in full swing, last week and this week, with plenty of Hillview players in action. The Tipp County Vets tournament was played over the weekend.

 

Club Lotto

On the 15th September the Hillview Lotto Jackpot was worth €6,000. The numbers drawn were 8-17-23-24 and there was 1 lucky winner. The Next Lotto Draw will take place on Saturday 22nd Sept at 9.00p.m. The Jackpot will now be worth only €1,000. Tickets are €1 each and can be bought from ticket sellers, or at the Hillview Bingo every Monday & Friday Night or at the Club Bar every night. Buy-ins for 2018 are now due, they are available at €45.00 for 1 year. If you're not in you can't win.
