Hillview Win Under 12 and 14 Tennis Cups

Junior Tennis

Hillview was host for the annual round robin under 12 and under 14 inter club competitions. Thanks to Larkspur's Lucy Butler for organising this event, this year she was aided by Sandra Charles from Hillview. After being dormant for a few years, mainly due to a lack of girls participating, Hillview were able to produce 7 teams this year. Due to the hard work in coaching, Hillview were winners in both events. The winning under 14 were Sean Moroney, Thomas Charles, Roisin Barry and Grainne Commins, they beat the Ballypatrick team of Finn Fitzgerald, Oscar Quirke, Camille Ryan and Eva Fitzpatrick in the final. In the under 12 section, they beat Larkspur in the final, the Hillview team was Owen Quigley, Kevin Barry, Izzy O'Hora and Aurelia Finucane, runners up Larkspur were Jack O'Dwyer, Darragh O'Donnell, Molly Gilmartin and Emily Moloney. Thanks to all who participated and helped run the tournament.
