Pitch and Putt - Paul Sweeney wins the Hillview Memorial Cup
Hillview were delighted to host a major new competition on the annual calendar, the inaugural Hillview Memorial Trophy competition. Going forward this Trophy will be played for every year in memory of all deceased members. May they rest in peace.Blessed with unseasonably good weather we had a brilliant turnout, which of course lead to a tight competition which was only decided on the final cards at the end of the two days. Kilkenny Vets. Hillview had 3 representatives at the end of season Kilkenny Vets Tournament. The evergreen Martin Ormonde won the men's over 55 singles, Michael Prendergast partnered Dick McCarthy to win the over 65 doubles and William Guiry was runner up in the over 45 doubles. We have 13 teams competing in the Flamingo Bingo sponsored Winter League on Monday and Wednesday evenings. Good luck to our 3 teams competing in the Munster Winter League.
On the 4th November 2017 the Hillview Lotto Jackpot was worth €1,500. The numbers drawn were 1-2-14-18 and unusually there were no match 3 winners. The Next Lotto Draw will take place on Saturday 11th November at 9.00p.m. The Jackpot will now be worth €1,600. Tickets are €1 each and can be bought from ticket sellers, or at the Hillview Bingo every Monday & Friday Night or at the Club Bar every night. Buy-ins for 2017 are now due, they are available at €45.00 for 1 year. If you're not in you can't win.
