Lights Switch On

On Thursday 30th March, we welcomed the former Minister for the Environment, Tourism and Sport Mr Alan Kelly, TD to Hillview for the formal switch on the new lights system, also Cllr Michael Murphy was present, as both were very helpful in securing the necessary Sports Capital Development Funding. The Inter Firms completion is continuing all week, with the Finals planned for Sat 8th April. All the players are very impressed with the quality of the new lights. The tournament social evening, barbecue and entertainment with mentalist/magician/mind-reader RUA was a great success, thanks to Siobhan Slater and McDonalds.

It was great to see our club members performing so well in this very prestigious tournament.
