Paul Sweeney Wins Dom Kavanagh Trophy

Hillview player Paul Sweeney was the winner of the beautiful Dom Kavanagh Trophy, sponsored by the Kavanagh family, and played over 3 days, June 3-5, on a very tough course. The heat of the sun, which shone for all 3 days, was matched only by the heat of the competition, with fortunes swinging this way and that, before the winner was declared on Sunday evening. Only after a countback was Paul declared the winner from fellow clubman Jason Cunningham. Both of these players are comparatively new arrivals on the P&P scene and would appear to have long and successful futures ahead of them in the game. The full list of winners across all grades were as follows. Hillview members except when noted otherwise.
