Pitch and Putt - Anthony Culhane Tipp Hills wins John Shore Memorial
Hillview was the venue for the 2016 playing of the John Shore Memorial. A splendid turnout of 94 players was an eloquent testament to the great man and his contribution to Tipperary Pitch & Putt. After a slow and cold start to the day the sun came out and in no time at all Hillview was showing its teeth despite the soft ground conditions. Here we should say thanks to the ground staff (Richard Blanche and Richard McGrath) for producing another excellent course despite the awful weather we have had recently which was appreciated by all including sponsors the Tipperary County Board. After a long day the overall winner was Anthony Culhane (Tipp Hills) by 2 shots from Stephen Shore (Riverdale) with the 2015 winner Kieran Earls a further shot behind in third place. Anthony's performance in the playoffs was exceptional making him a worthy winner.Other winners were:Ladies
