Thanks to all the volunteers (circa 15 to 20 people over the 3 days) who gave of their time to ensure that the multisports camp was a great success, we had 70 children aged from 6 to 12 with various levels of skill and experience in tennis, pitch and putt, badminton, skittles, table tennis and handball, we hope they enjoyed their time in Hillview. Also we were grateful to Freda O'Hanrahan for providing the lovely food and desserts to keep us going every day.
Pitch and Putt
After the summer practise sessions, we recently had a Juvenile Competition to Hillview after too long an absence. To celebrate this special day, and rather than giving out the usual first second and third prizes, it was decided that all players who entered would receive prizes. We were able to do this because of the generous sponsorship received from former club members, James Cleary, Conor Fleming and Joe Hickey. Gentlemen thank you from all in Hillview for your support. A total of 15 boys and girls took part, we thank them and of course the Mums and Dads who supplied the taxi service. At the presentation of prizes in the clubhouse the President Seamus O'Doherty thanked all who had helped make an enjoyable day possible.Ely Centra Competition.
