Club Lotto:

On Saturday 9TH May 2015 the Hillview lotto Jackpot was worth €5,000.  The numbers drawn were 10-12-13-21.  There was no Winner of the Jackpot.  There were 3 tickets with 3 numbers.  Each Winning ticket receives €40.00.  The Next Lotto Draw will take place on Saturday 16TH May 2015 at 9.30p.m.  The Jackpot will now be worth €5,100.  Tickets are €1 each and can be bought from ticket sellers, or at the Hillview Bingo every Monday & Friday Night or at the Club Bar every night.  Buy-ins for 2015 are now due, they are available at €45.00 for 1 year.  If you're not in you can't win.

Pitch and Putt:

Hillview Scratch Cup:

This iconic competition for the Paddy Power Memorial Trophy, was played in appalling conditions in Hillview on Sunday may 10th. Despite the conditions we had a fantastic turnout of 110+ players. After an absorbing days play the winners in the various grades are as follows: Ladies 12-18 grade Winner Margaret Courtney (Riverdale), Runner-up Nora Whelan (Hillview).  Ladies 0-11 Grade Winner Breda Lonergan (Tipp-Hills), Runner up Margaret Hogan (Tullamore). Gent's Junior Grade Winner Jimmy Fitzgerald (Hillview), Runner-up Michael Brennan (Tipp-Hills).  Gent's Inter Grade Winner Bobby O'Donnell (Tipp-Hills), Runner-up Kevin Doyle (Fermoy).  Gent's Senior last 18 Holes Winner Noel Joyce (Hillview), Gent's Senior overall 3rd was Eddie Hennessy (Tramore), Gent's Senior overall 2nd was Declan Freeman (Fermoy) and Gent's overall Winner and holder of the Paddy Power Trophy for 2015 is Dan Keohane (Fermoy).

The presentation of prizes took place in the club bar in the evening in the presents of club President Seamus O'Doherty and the Sponsor of the competition John O'Sullivan of O'Sullivan Insurances, Clonmel.  In his address Mr O'Doherty thanked all who played and braved the atrocious conditions.  In reply Mr O'Sullivan said he was glad to continue his long association with Hillview which goes back many years.

Andy Doyle Trophy:

This competition will be played on Sunday 17th May.  This will be a 36 Hole Strokeplay event, with and entry fee of €5 per-person. Play will start at 10.00am. Prizes will be as follows: Overall Nett Winner, Overall Nett Runner-up, Ladies & Gent's Overall Gross and Ladies & Gent's Nett's.


Open Scramble:

This will be played on Thursday 21st May 2015 with a start time of 6.30pm.  This event is open to members and non-members alike.  Come along and have some fun for just €3.


Castleview Inter Firms:

The Castleview Inter Firms Tournament Entry forms are now on the notice board; please support this great local tournament.

Munster Summer Cups/ South Tipp Leagues:

The club is now looking for entries to the Munster Summer Cups/ South Tipp Leagues teams please place your name on the board. Go on give it a go.

Munster Super Vets:

Michael Murray & Michael Prendergast have been chosen on the Munster Super Vets team for the Inter Provincials in Galway on 15th May. We wish them both every success.

Open Americans:

Stop the lights, our season of open American social tennis friendlies will be starting on Wednesday 13th May at 7.00pm.Everyone is welcome, bring a friend, and just turn up.

Marquin Cup:

Last but not least the Club Marquin Cup, our internal multisport fun competition will be starting on Monday 18th May, running over 3 nights, so get your names on the entry sheet, which is now on the club notice board.
