The ladies division 3 team put up a great performance against Kinase in the Munster Final, before eventually losing in the play-off super doubles by 7 games to 5; the initial result was 2 each, all the girls, Phil Darrer, Trish Keating, Nuala Smith and Teresa Drohan shared a victory each. Also thanks to Ann Walsh, who subbed along the way. After a long day and a long campaign the team can be proud of their achievement.Limerick Vets
Following his success in Sundays Well, Michael Prendergast picked up another victory in the over 55 mixed doubles at the Limerick Vets tournament, a young Vet Eugene O'Mahoney was runner up in the over 35 men's doubles.Inter Firms
The next important tennis competition is the annual Inter Firms / Fun Groups Tournament; this is kindly sponsored by the MSD Sports and Social Club and Quality Recycling, good entry this year in the higher grades 1 to 5, with finals on Thursday 23rd.Juniors

Despite cold and blustery conditions which met the early players in the qualifiers there was an excellent turnout last Sunday April 12, with 40+ players involved from all Tipperary clubs. While the ladies were scarce, we hope that many more will take part in the finals next Sunday April 19 to ensure a worthwhile competition.Hillview will be well represented in the finals of the various gents grades with John Fitzgerald and Michael Kennedy in the Seniors, Rory O'Hanrahan in the Intermediates and Mario Smith with Adrian Anglim in the Juniors. Congratulations to all who qualified for the finals and commiserations to those who did not. Best of luck lads next Sunday April 19. Start time for the finals will be about 9.00 am starting with the Seniors, Intermediates and finally the Juniors. Please note the course will be closed to casual play during the finals.Tuesday Scrambles: please note our popular scrambles start on Tuesday April 21 with a start time of 6.30pm weather permitting. On Saturday 11TH April 2015 the Hillview lotto Jackpot was worth €4,600. The numbers drawn were 12-16-20-24. There was no Winner of the Jackpot. There were 8 tickets with 3 numbers. Each winning ticket receives €20.00. The Next Lotto Draw will take place on Saturday 18TH April 2015. The Jackpot will now be worth €4,700. Tickets are €1 each and can be bought from ticket sellers, or at the Hillview Bingo every Monday & Friday Night or at the Club Bar every night.
